How to get there
Kilisealti Pension is located near the village entrance in a quiet street opposite the schoolhouse. It is a 10 minute walk (steep!) or a 1-kilometer drive (bumpy!) to the Nisanyan Inn, which is on top of the hill on the opposite flank of the village.

To reach Sirince, use the (well-marked) road turn at the North end Selçuk. The 8-km Selçuk-Sirince drive is one of the prettiest in the whole country.(more road info...)

The Little Guesthouse under the Church Steps

Kilisealti Pension will be closed for the winter until March 31, 2008. Nisanyan Inn and the Houses are open as always.

Kilisealti Pansiyon means The Guesthouse Under the Church. It takes its name from the steps of the former church of St Demetrios, now a ruin, which stands on a height at the village entrance of Şirince. The 7-room guesthouse came into operation in 2004. It offers a low-key, inexpensive alternative to Nisanyan House.

Kilisealti Pension offers six friendly, cozy and bright double rooms and one two-room suite. Rooms 4 and 5 together occupy a separate house, and they share a bathroom. All other rooms have private shower and WC. The suite (room 7) has a double bedroom and a living room with a sofabed that converts into a comfortable second double bed. The guesthouse is centrally heated in winter. There is a pretty courtyard shaded by a vine canopy and some tangerine trees, and a grassy garden full of flowers. They command a postcard-perfect view of the village.

Two young women, Gülden and Ferda, run Kilisealti Pension with smiling hospitality. The guesthouse has a separate desk and telephone (898 3128) if you want to contact it directly. You can place your online reservations through the Nisanyan House website. And of course Kilisealti guests are welcome to make free use of the Nisanyan House facilities - the swimming pool, restaurant, library or broadband internet connection.
Terrace Room 4
Postcard-perfect view of Sirince from the courtyard of the guesthouse... Rooms are a bit smallish but very bright and charmingly furnished.

The courtyard is full of cozy corners that invite laziness. Style is not neglected, and the vases are never without fresh flowers.
Room 1
Breakfast is served under the tangerine tree (when it does not rain).
